One way we're improving the Murfreesboro fitness community is with our group workshops. By combining education and exercise practice, we help people improve their overall performance and reduce their risk of injuries.

Dr. Sam loves working with small groups of like-minded individuals to help them solve issues they might have. Everyone learns from each other as questions are asked and answered for the benefit of the group. You may even leave with a new friend or two.

We get it — whether you're just starting out or have been hitting the pavement or gym for years, a lot can go wrong. That's why we believe in a proactive approach to movement. Our free workshops are a fantastic way to take responsibility for your movement and build better habits for the long run.
  • Improve your performance: Learn to move with more efficiency and power. We'll show you how small tweaks to your form can make a big difference in how you feel and how fast you can go.

  • Reduce injury risk: Understanding the mind-body connection is a game-changer. We'll teach you to listen to your body and recognize the difference between being  "hurt" and "hurting" so you can prevent setbacks and stay on track with your long-term movement goals.

  • Get personalized, expert guidance: With a limit of just 10 people per workshop, you'll get the one-on-one attention you need to get your questions answered and get hands-on feedback from a physical therapist.

The Borodash Preparation Running Workshop

Overview:

It's time to earn that Thanksgiving feast!

This free workshop is designed specifically for Murfreesboro runners tackling the Borodash. Don't wait until the day before to think about your race plan and prepare your body. We believe in a proactive approach to movement, and this session is your opportunity to prevent injury and maximize your performance.

Join Dr. Sam to dial in your race-day strategy. What you’ll learn and do:

  • Race-Ready Strength: Targeted muscle strengthening exercises that runners often miss, designed to improve performance and reduce your risk of injury on the course.

  • Strategic Warm-Up: The most effective approach and drills to properly prepare your body for the Borodash, ensuring you start the race strong and efficient.

  • Race Day Pacing: We'll wrap up with a 400-meter practice loop where you'll get immediate input on how to manage your pace and energy to master the Borodash.

The workshop is limited to 10 people to ensure you get personalized, expert guidance and have all your questions answered.
